As of November 1 st , 2001, Tektrend’s team is the Aerospace division of RD Tech. Our focus will be to continue engineering and building our state-of-the-art immersion and squirter ultrasonic systems, CUB and TIGER, while making advancements in other areas of aerospace NDT, such as Edge-of-Light and multiple technique units.
Tektrend’s owners, Michel Brassard, André Pelletier and Ahmad Chahbaz, decided to make the move to take advantage of RD Tech’s established international sales force, which includes technical support in cities around the world.
There will be some changes, but we’d like to reassure our clients and partners that we will continue to provide the best technical support and customer service. We are not moving (we’re still unpacking from last year!) and our staff is not changing our support people are always available for your calls.

in which you’ll find our new e-mail address and
other pertinent information. If any of your
questions are no answered, please feel free to
contact us if you have immediate concerns.

SOME PRACTICALITIES
PLEASE NOTE: Future issues of the NewsWave, as well as upcoming bulletins, technical papers and other
communications will be published under the new R/D Tech Montreal banner. If you’re on the Tektrend NewsWave
mailing list, your name and email will be included in our new R/D Tech Montreal list.
As R/D Tech Montreal, we are determined to continue providing the same excellent customer service and to dedicate
the same ingenuity to our R&D projects as we did as Tektrend. Naturally, there are some small changes, mostly
administrative, that should be noted.
For the next few months, Tektrend Inc. will continue to exist as a corporate entity as we lay the groundwork for
establishing R/D Tech Montreal’s fiscal status. During this transitional period, our invoices will still be issued from
Tektrend Inc., and we ask that payments be made to Tektrend as well.
Our Website, www.tektrend.com, is still up and running, and we are still updating it on a regular basis. We invite you to
visit the R/D Tech Website, www.rd-tech.com. R/D Tech Montreal’s Internet features will soon be incorporated into the
main R/D Tech Site.
If you wish to communicate with us via e-mail, you can continue to use our Tektrend addresses, which will remain
active during the transitional period. Alternatively, you can update your e-address book immediately. The new e-mail
addresses are still based on the ‘firstname.lastname’ format, followed by @rd-tech.com. For example, my address,
which was maggie.mcdonnell@tektrend.com, becomes maggie.mcdonnell@rd-tech.com.
Our mailing address, telephone and fax numbers have not changed.
