with superior physical properties and structures(amorphous and
nanocrystalline magnetic materials shaped as ribbons , wires,
glass-covered wires, powders and thin films, etc) ; Elaboration of
novel equipments based on magnetic materials; Development of novel
physical methods enabling the study of magnetic field, magnetic
separation and filtration.Development of new methods for
nondestructive evaluation and characterization of metallic,
composites, structures and monitoring of structures.
Collaboration
Title : NONDESTRUCTIVE EVALUATION OF NANO AND SMART MATERIALS
Type Details : We propose to develop the specific methods for nano and smart
materials nondestructive evaluation and characterization such as:
- Eddy current nanosensors array for detecting and evaluation of
cracks in conductive materials
- Signal processing and algorithms for all kind of eddy current
inspection
- Data fusion and inversion
- US (ultrasonic) nondestructive evaluation using Lamb waves
- Monitoring of carbon -epoxy composite structures using fiber
Bragg gratings;
- Theoretical studies and simulation of fatigue; flaw growth and
propagation;
- Theoretical modeling of nonlinear materials
- Experimental validation of theoretical data;
- Forward and inverse problems in EC (eddy current) and UT
(ultrasound testing) .
