Collaboration Title : NONDESTRUCTIVE EVALUATION OF NANO AND SMART MATERIALS Type Details : We propose to develop the specific methods for nano and smart materials nondestructive evaluation and characterization such as: - Eddy current nanosensors array for detecting and evaluation of cracks in conductive materials - Signal processing and algorithms for all kind of eddy current inspection - Data fusion and inversion - US (ultrasonic) nondestructive evaluation using Lamb waves - Monitoring of carbon -epoxy composite structures using fiber Bragg gratings; - Theoretical studies and simulation of fatigue; flaw growth and propagation; - Theoretical modeling of nonlinear materials - Experimental validation of theoretical data; - Forward and inverse problems in EC (eddy current) and UT (ultrasound testing) .
