The application facilities of the gauge is, not at least, a question of a suitable probe: Besides the well-known standard probes, KARL DEUTSCH has a wide spectrum of special probes individually matched with the specific material and shape of the workpiece and which is permanently extended.

From now, all RMGs 4015 are, without any price increase, equipped with a multipoint calibrating function. With this, the applicant is able by means of simply to be made test pieces which only must have several saw cuts of different depths, to key-in an individual and exactly matching characteristic for the used material and to store it permanently. The multiple-point calibrating function now permits reliable measurements even on those workpieces which, due to their unusual magnetic and electric properties, up to now were considered as difficult.

Older instruments can, upon request, be equipped with the new multi-point calibrating function.
