Troy, MI - September 12, 2003 - Test Equipment Distributors, LLC announces the introduction of Inspector+, an new, patented, battery powered black light lamp for NDT. The new lamp is unlike anything that has been available to date. It is completely cordless for maximum mobility and features Instant-on capability with no warm-up. The lamp is based on the high quality Milwaukee™ power tool line, using standard 14.4 volt drill motor batteries for long life. Batteries last up to one hour at a 50% duty cycle and recharge in an hour or less with widely used 110 volt, 220 volt, or vehicle power port chargers.

UV light output in standard mode is in excess of 1200 µw/cm² and a special Turbo-Button boosts UV output to over 2200 µw/cm². The lamp is light weight and well balanced for long term use without operator fatigue. Low cost replacement bulbs make this lamp very economical to operate.
