An entire day was devoted to discussion of the group's future role and contact with professionals. Hans Aisenbrey moderated. Topics included how to get more lectures from group participants to increase dialog with industrial users and general discussions on how to organize the meetings.

The figures of 1996 were very positive: 150 meetings, 198 lectures, 3440
participants!
Finally, the same old worrisome question: How can the DGZfP transfer
knowledge
and reach NDT newcomers?
