	Records of 97s' China Conference on Radiation Detection and 
		the Exibition of NDT&NDE Equipments

   97s' National Conference on Radiation Detection and the Exibition of 
NDT&NDE Equipments was hold from 14th June to 19th June in Penglai city,
which is located in the northeast of ShanDong Provience,a beautiful
seacoast city with many folk tales of Eight Gods well known by Chinese 
People.
   The meeting was sponsored by radiation department of China NDT sociaty
,together with ShanDong New Times NDT co.There were about a hundred members
of NDT&NDE all over the country who presented the meeting.Professor Kong
(Cong)Fangeng introduced the 14th world conference on NDT&NDE on the 
meeting,which was hold in Newderi India last year.Senior engineer 
Zheng Shichai and Li Yan reported on "The latest standard eveluation on 
radiation detection in Eroup,USA and Jepanese" and "On the class of 
radiation photographical technology" individually.More than 50 papers
were recieved and read on the meeting (the titles were listed in the last).
They are CT application,Neutron photographic,X-ray and r-ray detection 
and eveluation methods for industrial equipments and computer management
on NDT&NDE,which related to industrial meterial,aeroplane and space,defence,
manufacture and pressure vessels etc.
    All of the representives think that the meeting will act as a important
role on promoting chinese NDT&NDE development.The proceeds of the conference
has been published and can get from Senior engineer Liang jinkun,Manager of
ShanDong New Times co. if you are interesting in the topics listed.(or write
to Mr.Zhao, Midsouth NDT Instruments co.)
    During the meeting,there were more than 20 factories exibit their 
products,which include industrial x-ray sets,r-ray sets,electronic 
accelerator from 4MeV to 9Mev,Ultrosonic instruments,ET,film for radiation
and other attachments etc. ... most of them are computer-based with high
automatical.They reflect the new achivments of chinese NDT&NDE technicans.
    At last, the representitives discussed the advantages of collecting 
informations through INTERNET.At the same time,all of them hope to link
with the NDT&NDE members all over the world through INTERNET, to exchange
technology, informations,manpower resourse and equipments.They also express
their will to cooperat with the companies abroad in the NDT&NDE fields in
verious of methods,such as cooperation,joined venture,etc.
