When I entered this site for the first time I was surprised to find an excellent Website reflecting the comprehensive information resources provided by the Society. It was not easy to navigate however.

This is just a summary of the Website's NDT features. I hope I'm not missing anything important since the Home Page is really full of information. A site search could be a very helpful feature.
Anyway, the site is excellent and can be a guideline for many other NDT societies. Well, that's enough of that. Off you go on your journey through the grandiose world of Internet Information Resources and I don't know if you'll make it back to this page today or not! Anyway, hope to see you soon on UTonline. SPIE Conferences on NDT methods
SPIE organizes the largest and most diverse technical programs in the optics industry, sponsoring more than 250 conferences every year throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. In 1994, over 12,200 papers were presented to over 18,000 attendees at SPIE conferences. Regarding these activities, SPIES' NDE '96 Home Page provides detailed information on conferences held in '96.   New SPIE working group focuses on global security issues. SPIE-The International Society for Optical Engineering has established an international technical working group on Non-Invasive Inspection Technologies. The group is an interactive network of professionals working with active probe and passive detection technologies. Members include scientists and engineers designing, manufacturing, and deploying these advanced systems, as well as those developing detection and interpretation methodologies. "The group is concerned with all aspects of non-destructive and unintrusive probing in a variety of applications, including medical diagnostics, quality control, testing and evaluating devices and instruments, security screening, and contraband detection."
