Imagine3D Ultrasonic Raytracing Software

UTEX Sclentific Instruments has introduced Imagine3D, a new ultrasonic raytracing software program.

Imagine3D shows you exactly where your ultrasonic sound field is going in a part using three dimensional graphics that can be rotated to any viewing angle. Your own inspection parts can be drawn in Imag'me3D or imported from .dxf CAD files. Imagine3D will model the sound field of your existing transducer or it can tell you which transducer to use for any glven inspection geometry.

Imagine3D allows faster technique development, clearer visuallzation of the inspection and reduced costs by eliminating incorrect transducer cholces. It provides simulated inspection A-scans and B-scans as well as reports that you can use to better commum'cate with your technicians and customers. Imagine3D allows you to see what you are doing before you actually statt the job. Because it can handle any number of longitudinal and shear mode conversions, it can accurately identlfy where unexplained A-scan signals are originating. Imagine3D is also an exzellent training tool.
