This Month's Introduction

We had hoped to publish more material from the Cofrend Congress CD-ROM, but the producers used Macromedia Flash 5, a format which is not readily convertible to HTML. In our opinion, Flash may be terrific for many kinds of content, but it is not the ideal format for conference papers. We hope that in the future NDT Societies will choose a more accessible format for CD-ROM compilations. At least we received some conference articles directly from the authors.
