Hi Marco,

I'm sorry, but I don't think that such book exist. You have many variables and you are not saying what you are looking for. There is numerous Codes and Specifications which will guide you toward a specific inspection and even then, you may inspect the part using various method.

The only book that come to mind is one that would give you an overview of what NDT is all about and what are the limitation of each method. One of these books is the Metals Handbook Desk Edition from the American Society of Material and there are many others.

The best thing is to contact a reputable NDT Service company in your area, explain your situation and see what they suggest. You know there is more than one way to skin a cat!!!
