Endoscopes themselves are not the source of ignition and thus do not need to be certified unless they are videoscopes and have a camera at the tip. The smallest Ex camera on the market will go through a 50mm hole but has no ability to pan or tilt. If you need an endoscope for small access then it is the light source that needs to be certified such as the KLS 4250 or a sceon
