Envision Product Design manufactures intelligent magnetic crawlers in several sizes and configurations for industrial NDT, as well as providing up-grades and refurbishing of simple UT crawlers. Dr. Joe Imlach, a magnetic specialist, designs our wheels and as a result we achieve much higher performance than by placing soft iron plates on the sides of toroidal magnets. We built custom magnetic wheels, with or without integrated bearings and gears, in a broad range of diameters (12mm to 100mm) with attachment strengths from 2 kg to over 200 kg per wheel. We would be happy to quote your wheels if you can provide the needed details.

: We are about to remodel our UT-scanners for use at ferritic surfaces. The wheels shall be driven by magnetic wheels (diameter ~45mm). The question is where to get these wheels. Someone who know about such offers please contact me.
