Ice Sensor

Sten,

At one time I looked for an ice-sensor that I can be imbedded in
concrete and continuously monitor accumulation of ice on the
external surface. I got several responses to this message
and the closest solution that I found could be to embedding
a piezoelectric transducer in a pulse echo mode. There are many
issues that need to be address if such an application is pursued.

By the way, your suggested homepage does not identify who is the owner
and does not give contact information - my advice is to add this
information.

: Yosi,

Take a look at www.reab.se/lofving/ongoing if you are interested in a
laser sensor for ice.
