diagnostic film length

Posted by: john williams , E-mail: john.williams9@baesystems.com, on May 23, 2000 at 15:52 :

IS it true when calculating a minimum sfd, a rough rule of thumb is 1.1 * film length for gamma and for x-ray it is 1.5 * filmlength. This rule follows for gamma if you calculate it mathematically but not for x-ray. Could you enlighten me please
