Our information, from the point of view of a competitor, is that Krautkramer are planning to launch a new instrument called the USN60, but this has been delayed for reasons that we aren't sure about.
Such information as we can glean (and we've tried quite hard) suggests that it will be broadly equivalent to our recently launched Sitescan 240 instrument (lightish package, probably the same as the USN50, colour display, narrow band filters) I dont know about the Audible alarm, we certainly wouldn't leave it out...
If anyone wants any further information, please contact me directly

Sonatest Plc: : Please Is it possible you tell us if ecxist a Utrasonic Flow Detector ( USN52) and if ecxist another brand new one called USN60 . In a afirmative answer , would you please send us a catalog Report.
: : Best regards
: Krautkramer does have a USN52, ultrasonic FLAW detector, which can be found on its self-named website. It is a nice portable system which has been used by the USAF for the last few years.
: There website does not mention a USN60, but Krautkramer, and its new owner, AGFA, may have an upgraded system in the wings. (A built-in audible alarm and narrower frequency bands would be nice.) However they do still sell their earlier verson, the USN50, which may have caused some confusion.
