This is at a manufacturing plant, and over the past 10 years there have been at least three other women who worked as radiographers and one who was an ultrasonic inspector. Those four stayed here until they retired. Two women have worked here in NDT engineering support. I know of three other women in the Kansas City area who are working as magnetic particle and penetrant inspectors in manufacturing plants. I have certainly not seen any evidence of discrimination. There might be difficulties with living conditions in some field and temporary positions.
