:Due to extension of activities, NDT Consultants Ltd. has a permanent immediate vacancy in their Inspection Division for an experienced Level II NDT Technician / Engineer.
The position includes work in our Laboratories in Coventry and on-site both in the UK, offshore and overseas.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level II qualification from a recognised source (PCN / EN473 / ISO 4179 / NAS410 / SNT-TC 1A etc.), in at least two of the following techniques, and have some experience in the other disciplines:
Ultrasonics
Eddy Current
Penetrant Testing
Radiography
Magnetic Particle
Our impressive range of equipment includes Long-Range Ultrasonics, Digital Radiography with 420 KV exposure bay, Eddy-Current Tube Inspection, Full Penetrant Lines, Immersion Ultrasonics from 1 MHz to 80 MHz and MPI Benches as well as conventional UT instruments, MPI yokes, portable transformers and portable Eddy Current instruments.
Our clients are wideranging, typically from Petrochemical, Aerospace, Military, Automotive industries and Research Institutes etc.
The successful candidate will possess a full Driving Licence, and will have a permit enabling them to work within the UK and the EEC.
They will not have problems climbing ladders on scaffolding and refinery columns etc. nor in working in confined spaces.
