We are currently looking forward for the following personnel:
Job Title: Principal HSE Adviser
Location: NigeriaKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the HSE delivery and performance in field development project from pre-FEED stages through to commissioning and handover to asset operation team.
• Mentor and coach the local HSE advisers working in the project team to deliver HSE performance excellence in accordance with the SPDC standards.
• Provide HSE discipline input into engineering design for field development project including interfaces to existing plants and export pipelines
• Provide HSE discipline advisory role and manage HSE delivery in procurement, contracting, construction, hook-up and commissioning activities.
• Take a lead role in the HSE discipline for the selection of technically competent contractors and contract staffs within project team.JOB ATTRIBUTES:
• Good understanding of Technical Safety and HSE-MS delivery in the EP business
• HSE Technical Safety specialist experience coupled sound knowledge of HSE-MS implementation in a project environment through contractors and service providers
• Experienced in communicating & implementing HSE Processes & programs
• Ability to coordinate & deliver shared services & activities to the contractors groups
• Shift in mindset and behaviours from 'traditional' HSE instructional advice to strategic partnership in HSE Hearts & Minds service delivery
• Change Mgt, Project Mgt, & Engagement Skills
• Good knowledge of Group contractor management practices & strategiesEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum BSc degree in Engineering with a broad knowledge of E&P process engineering systems and HSE tools/practices. Shall posses a minimum combined total of 12 years experience in E&P field engineering and a practising HSE professional for at least 3 years covering technical safety, operational safety and environment management.
Experience in execution of E&P large gas project development from design, procurement, construction and commissioning in a third world country environment. Possess good communication, inter-personal and leadership skill with proven capacity in leading teams.
