(previously Veridian Engineering)We are seeking an exceptional Scientist to join our System Integration team to assist with our Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) work, primarily using Eddy Current Inspection Systems (ECIS) .
As this Scientist, you will work with our Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) team programming a 7-axis robot to inspect rotating engine components of military aircraft using eddy current technology.
Your responsibilities will include the development of new Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) applications and investigation of innovative techniques such as giant magneto resistive (GMR) sensors.
Experience applying GMR sensors to USAF aging aircraft or similar problems is highly desirable.
