In response to significant business growth and exciting new project activities, Techcorr seek to recruit a first class Operations Manager for the new Inspection, NDT and Engineering services centre, based at Mumbai.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that is thriving in the fast-moving environment of advanced NDT technology application engineering, consultancy and site support.
You will operate and maintain equipment and liaise with customers to provide technical support and maintain health, safety and quality standards.
You will possess a sound background in mechanical, structural and materials engineering. You should have a sound background in engineering or a related discipline, and able to demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills, and a flexible approach to working hours, travel and team work. Experience in the role of operations manager is desirable as is certification and experience (preferably in a refinery type environment) in a number of NDT disciplines.
This position will report to the Managing Director Techcorr India and will be expected to plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations to meet the organisational values and objectives of Techcorr. This will be achieved by ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction, a stable and rewarding opportunity for employees whilst growing a profitable market share. Specific duties will include managing daily operations, planning the use of equipment, materials and human resources, ensuring compliance with Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
