: I am looking for equipment to do ultrasonic testing (pitch-catch) in air. I will be working over a range of 0 to 3 meters. I need millimeter resolution. Does anyone know of sources for pulsers, transmitters, receivers? I assume I need to work at 50 to 200 kHz or so, but I am having trouble finding speakers and microphones at these frequencies.
First I have some more questions.
Are you really want to do MATERIAL testing?
I don't think that it is possible to work up to 3 meters.
I hope that Jan O. Strycek QMI and panelist on this workshop will shear my doubt.
(Jan: what is the maximum distance?)What material do you want to test?
You need millimeter resolution in the material?Rolf Diederichs
