Search for ==> battery powered hand-held panoramic x-ray tube

Dear Colleagues,

we have Need for a battery powered x-ray tube ( like: ICM, MEDEX or... ), hand held
( light weight ), beam characteristic: panoramic ; Energy: 160 KeV down to 120 keV,
small focal spot size, low current we can accept based on that we work direct digital !"

Unfortunately after a long internet search i found nothing. So i need an idea who have such
x-ray tube available (!!! ); maybe also we can implement a x-ray tube from other application fields as NDT !

If somebody have a good idea or knows a manufacturer please drop me a line !

Dear Christoph

i hope you have a VERY steady hand to hold your hand-held X-ray tube steady with! I can almost accept battery-powered with the cleverness of battery and circuit designers nowadays. I suppose hand-held could work by measuring and processing arm tremors! Good luck in your hunt, please post if you find what you are looking for.

Try to find some impulse x-ray machine. Trere must be a lot available in CIS

not quite hand held, but tube itself is 5kgs only

I really really really would not want to use a panoramic generator hand-held.
Chances of not accidentally irradiating yourself would seem very small

directional set is possible however:

have a couple of possibilities

160keV held in hand - heh You people state good jokes nowadays :)
to power up an eqiupnent like this you need at least 1 kW power source so equip Yourself with a large batery pack in Your local market :)

I believe Mr.Schnitger by "hand-held" meant "small, light, portable and handy in confined spaces". As far as I know people normally don't shoot x-ray exposures as they do with a shotgun :)
