conversion of Lux to cd/msq

I am not able to find proper way of conversion of brightness of light as measured in Lux by a Lux meter to cd/msq.
We have measured the light intensity as 400000 lax. How much this will be in cd/m sq

I don't think this is possible as the two units measure different things. Lux is illuminence and candela (cd) is light intensity.
Is 400000 lux correct?

Lux to candela calculation with distance in meters
The luminous intensity Iv in candela (cd) is equal to the illuminance Ev in lux (lx),
times the square distance from the light source d2 in square meters (m2):
Iv(cd) = Ev(lx) × (d(m))2

so cd=lux * meter square
