UT Calculations

Would it be possible for someone have a look at these questions and let me know if they are ok?

Aluminium:
- Density: 2700 kg/m^3
- Youngs Modulus: 70.3 GN/m^2
- Poissons Ratio: 0.345


i. Calculate Longitudinal Wave Velocity

VL = √ 70.3 x 10^9 x 1 - 0.345
2700 (1+0.345)(1-2x0.345)


VL = √ 70.3 x 10^9 x 0.655
2700 (1.345)(0.31)


VL = √ 70.3 x 10^9 x 0.655
2700 0.416

VL = 6402.79 m/s


ii. Calculate Shear Modulus

70.3 / 2(1+0.345) = 26.133

iii. Calculate Bulk Modulus

70.3 / 3(1-2x0.345) = 75.591

Ahhh on the longitudinal question, the numbers have all got messed up from when I wrote it to posting it, where I had positioned the numbers above and below for dividing
