Din IQI's predate the current ISO standards, they are however identical in all but name. It will depend on how anal people become! I have attached a supplier chart for your info

Dear Sir,

I second the opinion of Mr. Malloney. Apart from the name, the DIN and ISO IQI's are identical.

Dear Joshua,

the DIN IQIs where introduced in 1935 by DIN 1915. But be aware, their dimensions have been changed by DIN 54109 in 1962! Since this time DIN wire type IQIs and CEN or ISO wire type IQIs have the same dimensions and wire numbers. Only ASTM is still using the old British style wire numbers at identical dimensions like CEN and ISO, but inverse numbering. So the sum of the corresponding ISO and ASTM wire number is always 18, e.g. ISO wire 10 corresponds to ASTM wire 8.

Best regards

Uwe Z.

Thank you for all the responses... I was able to find something that stated exactly what all of you said. DIN was basically replaced by ISO standards so the 2 are exactly the same for wire sizes
