ECT Using Notches

Recently i have come across an inquiry for Stainless steel tubes (Size:- 13.70mm OD X 2.24mm wall thickness)

Weather ECT is feasible using encircling coil and reference sensitivity is ID & OD Longitudinal and transverse 45 deg. V- Type notch?

hi , i think it is feasible. and you should use the absolute and difference probe. of course, if your client have given you the criterion, you should carry it out according to the criterion. good luck.
