Acceptance criteria for surface ECT

Hi
Is there any criteria for surface ECT for acceptance and rejection.

no.
Eddy current notche standard for flat surface (including surface round), bolt hole, but also pipes, are established for the production or in the service. For example AF specification, ASTM E 426, when matched with product specification, especially those of the main manufacturers of aircraft and avio turbine, where inconel,nickel alloys and titanium, are widely used. RR, MTU, Snecma, P & W, etc., have elaborated in detail their specifications to detect crack-like surface signals. Of course the scope is well defined.
Do not understand what you're handling. I suggest you retrieve and comply with the specifications of the product manufacturer to prevent improper application. Remains in your 'scope'.

BS EN 1711 outlines that any indication found to be verified by MPI/ LPT,
Criteria will wary depending on what stage is the product like Mill , finishing(weld), in-service(SCC, fatigue) and applicable industry( Aero, nuclear,O&G)

Generally all liner indications are to be repaired.
