One factor to take into account is attenuation of UV light through the fibres of the borescope.
For UV applications, you may need to have the borescope manufactured with fibres which do not attenuate UV
Alternatively, is there space to run an extra cable alongside of the borescope, with 365nm UV LEDs on the end, so that you generate the UV where you need it, and are then only looking for the green images from defects.
