UT Lamination on high temperature

ut thickness & lamination on high temperature piping ,how can get accurate thickness measured .

Temperature reduces ultrasonic velocity and if not compensated will result in increased thickness readings. Here are the steps.
1. Place the step block for five minutes on the high temperature piping being tested.
2. calibrate for thickness measurement on the hot step block
3. Use high temperature couplant such sonotemp 600
4. Take thickness measurements
5. Keep contact time to minimum and cool the UT probe periodically by dipping in water
