50mm thickness, GMAW welding process, CS material inspection using pipewizard system

Dear All,

Can anyone please suggest how to perform inspection on 50mm thickness, J-Bevel inspection using pipewizard system.

In ASTM E 1961, mentioned the guidelines for the thickness upto 25mm. Is there any other standards to refer for the thickness above 25mm.

Is it possible to perform inspection on 50mm??

If possible, please guide me. And also for TOFD, how to cover the entire thickness and what reflectors should be used?

Expecting your valuable suggestions.

Thanks and Regards,
Chetan

I suggest you read DNV-OS-F101 App D Section F to know typical requirements for AUT of welds and DNV-RP-F118 in its entirety for how to qualify your proposed system and procedure.
