In GE USM 36 there is a feature BEA (Back Echo Attenuation) which can be used during inspection of forgings using Gate B with gain set for 100% Back Echo.
I want to know how to use this while testing forgings with DGS method. While using DGS, the gain is very
high and I want to know if during scanning we can get the loss in back echo also. Please help/clarify.
