Ultrasonic Longitudinal wave transmission at an oil wetted interface

I have an ultrasonic Longitudinal wave transmission at an oil wetted, air free, flat, smooth interface between two pieces of similar flat steel. The angle of incidence of the longitudinal wave is 68 degrees from the normal.
Can anyone detail the transmission/reflection physics of the beam at the faying surface interface as I seem to lose the signal!

George,
Krautkramer (Ultrasonic Testing of Materials) shows a table at the rear of the book "Reflection at free boundary of steel", where the reflected wave is at a minimum at 68 degrees incidence, and at the same time, the reflected Transverse wave is at a maximum.
You have to consider that the oil wetted and air free surface will also act partially as a free boundary.
