Density limitations for digital radiography

Nothing is stated about the subject in ASME V, only stated that T225 requirement is not applicable.
So, I´d like to know what are the density limitations.
Any input will be appreciated.

HI,

I think for Digital Radiography there is a grey value is given instead of Density.

If you are doinf Digital Radiography without using any film, then you are not able to fulfill any requirements on film density! Therefore, these requirements are translated into requirements on normailzed signal-to-noise ratio in you digital radiograph, see ISO 17636-2 for more details. Grey values doen not hlpe, because they can be scaled arbitrary. Only SNR in the image counts.

VIII-221.2 Procedure Demonstration. Demonstration of image quality indicator (IQI) image requirements of the written procedure on production or technique radiographs using phosphor imaging plate shall be considered satisfactory evidence of compliance with that procedure.

this mentioned in ASME 2010 under radiography using phosphor plate which is give at the end digital radio-graph.

nresolved asset integrity problem in the industry. Current methods for measuring wall thickness with liftoff, without removing insulation, all have severe limitations. Eddyfi introduces Lyft — a reinvented, high-performance pulsed eddy current (PEC) solution. The patent- pending system features a state-of-the-art portable instrument, real- time C-scan imaging, fast data acquisition with grid-mapping and dynamic scanning modes, and flexibility with long cables. It can also scan through thick metal and insulation, as well as aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel weather jackets. Who else but Eddyfi to reinvent an eddy current technique and redefine CUI programs. Got Lyft?
