Max Thickness - using Ir192

Dear Friends,

Using Iridium-192 Gamma Source, up to what thickness we can do Radiography?

Is there is any restrictions in max thickness using Ir-192 beyond exposure time?

Depends on the code you are working to.
Depends on the material you are testing.
I have seen acceptable Iridium 192 films on 4.25 inches of steel in accordance with ASME code.
Down side is very long exposures.
