questions about Acoustic emission

I am going to use Acoustic emission for monitoring the propagation of microcracking in the concrete specimen during loading in the lab. I want to analyze the quantitative characteristics of the cracking as well as the source localization.
my questions are:
what is best way to mount the sensors onto the concrete specimen?
what is the most reliable software to do the signal-based characterization?
