See in the Journal of the Acoustical society of america.
There was an article about ythe sound velocity of water in
function of the temperature. It was published almost five years ago.

I can find the reference if it's necessary

published a 5th order polynomial of the sound velocity of water in the temperature range of 0 to 100°C.
The are no remarks as to measuring frequency or dispersion.


The classical text

Landolt, Börnstein:
Molekularakustik (Band 5 der Gruppe II)
Berlin: Springer 1967 (in German)

shows a similiar polynomial using the older (before 1990) temperature scale.


Selfridge, Alan R.:
Approximate Material Properties in Isotropic Materials
IEEE Trans. Sonics Ultrason. 32 (1985) 381-394

contains tables on temperature dependent sound attenuation in water.
Please note the obviously wrong exponential in the respective formula: 10^-7 should read 10^-17.

The Chemical Rubber Co. Handbook of Chemistry and Physics listed the acoustic velocities of water in a table.
For distilled water at 25°C it is 1498m/s (density 0.998).
For sea water at 25°C (I suppose salinity is related to the temperature) it is 1531m/s and the density of that sea water is 1.025.
To establish your actual velocity at the temperature you are working the dV/dT for both distilled and sea water is -2.4m/s/°C
