I am aware of technique that utilize AE and impact generated stress waves but would like some first hand experiences of these and or any other techniques. Inspection is to prove the overall integrity of the piping as justification for continued service. At this stage there is no easy way to obtain internal access, but valves may be removed to provide a limited internal access. Pipeline is used to water only and is 14kms long and has an OD of 1050mm, wall thickness unknown at this stage. Any information appreciated.
