Oceaneering Inspection Division is a major provider of Engineering, Inspection and Non-Destructive testing services with world wide capability to the petrochemical, power generation, oil and gas and aerospace industries.

We are currently looking forward for the following personnel:
Job Title: Project QA Co-ordinator
Location: Nigeria

Accountabilities
• Support and implement the required Quality framework, systems and processes in all Project activities as a key element of technical integrity assurance and provide management with appropriate reporting and guidance on all these attributes
• Support the establishment and implementation of QA and QC across all areas of the Project
• Support and encourage contractors and suppliers to develop and implement adequate Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001
• Support and develop verification/compliance activities for technical integrity during the design, fabrication and operational phases of the project both onshore and offshore
•Assist in the identification, appointment and implementation of any Third Party Independent Competent and Verification Bodies to monitor contractor compliance
• Have a sound understanding of and be capable of reviewing technical standards applied to ensure these are appropriate and fit-for-purpose, and help identify areas of potential weakness
• Participate and provide input into technical, HSE and technical integrity reviews
• Implement a formal Quality and audit plan covering QA/QC processes and review audit findings, corrective action implementation, and initiate and maintain tracking registers
• Work under the leadership of the Lead or Senior Quality authority

Experience/Qualifications
• An engineering, science, quality or business based qualification (eg BSc, or University Certificate) or equivalent level qualification (eg higher, national or other certification) plus experience
• 5 to 10 years practical project QA/QC experience in EP activities and experience as a quality professional on major projects
• Experience and demonstrable expertise may be considered to substitute for academic qualifications
• Have demonstrable experience in Quality processes and QMS development and a sound working knowledge of QA/QC in design, procurement, construction and commissioning practices on major projects, aligned with a strong understanding of the application of ISO 9001
• Have a auditing training qualification as a lead auditor/audit team leader

Competencies
• Professional and mature with strong interactive and interpersonal skills
• A strong understanding of project organisational structures and the need for quality effectiveness
• A thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems and technical integrity verification/assurance schemes
• A vision of the importance of fit-for-purpose technical and quality requirements and the ability to translate the vision into practical solutions
• An strong understanding of the OPMG processes, including the application of the Opportunity Realisation Process
• A sound familiarity of design, procurement, construction and commissioning techniques
• An ability to interface with, and influence, a wide variety of contacts, including project managers, management, staff, and contractors
• An ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and involving contact with different cultural backgrounds
• An ability to be actively involved with coaching mentoring and skills transfer activities
• Able to work effectively with HSE and all other staff in the Major Projects and EP support team
• The ability to help develop and implement a fit-for-purpose technical integrity verification/compliance philosophy
• Be suitably qualified and experienced to ensure that the requirements of technical integrity are implemented, maintained and supported throughout all phases of project development.
• Have experience in carrying-out technical and compliance audits
• Have the ability to travel to all project locations and work with a variety of different and diverse peoples and cultures
• Be a strong and committed team player
• Capability and literacy with modern computer based working environments
