Matest 2001 Conference

Dear coleagues,
please note that deadline for abstract submission is postponed until 20 May.
www.fsb.hr/matest : Dubrovnik, Croatia, 23-25 September.

Beside regular NDT topics, at this occasion special emphasis is going to be APLD - that is a role of NDT methods in frame of AntiPersonnel Landmine Detection.

Conference is organised by CrSNDT and EFNDT Working Group 5 - APLD.

Regards,
Damir Markucic
Org.Committee

P.S.
Dear Rolf,

at http://www.ndt.net/event/event.htm there is an incorrect link to Matest 2001, please could you update this.

I found also that "8th European Congress for Stereology and Image Analysis" points to Quebec rather than to "Bordeaux
France".

Next generation for Phased Array UT is here now with FMC/TFM! Have higher resolution imaging, impr

oved signal to noise ratio, characterize, size and analyze defects better with access to several wave mode views and save raw FMC data for higher quality analysis.  Some of the benefits are:
  • Beautiful Image! Easier to understand what you're looking at
  • Completely focused in entire image or volume
  • Much easier to define setups before inspection
  • Easier to decipher geometry echoes from real defects
  • Oriented defects (e.g. cracks) are imaged better
  • See image from different wave modes from one FMC inspection
  • FMC data can be reprocessed/analyzed without going back to the field
