ultrasonic waveguide?

Hello NDT experts,
I would appreciate any info. on the possibility of
an ultrasonic waveguide much like the optical waveguide
used in medical endoscopes and remote cameras. My
application is ultrasonic imaging, where due to high
EM noise the receiving transducer array needs to be
some distance away from the sample. A waveguide or
standoff that would preserve the acoustic wavefront
over say 5 inches distance would allow the receiving
array to be placed remotely from the sample and still
form images. Any suggestion's welcome, thanks for
your attention.
