Using liquid nitrogen to make a slush bath out of R-12 refrigerant fluid "Freon-12" -- difluoro-dichloromethane will give a stable temperature of -157 degreec C. From the time the nitrogen boils off, until all the frozen R-12 melts, the temperature will hold at -157.
Another option is to find a testing lab with an ultrafreezer to perform the inpact testing [Charpy?] for you. Your specimens are small and light. Airmailing them to a lab is fairly inexpensive.
Teledyne ICM’s CPSERIES has been designed with a view to
revolutionizing the handling and perfor
mances of portable X-Ray
sets. Despite having managed to halve the weight of similar
portable X-Ray generators available on the market (while
continuing to provide the same power output), the SITEX CPSERIES
generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window,
an aluminum filter and two integrated diaphragms (customized sizes
are available upon request). Without compromising the robustness
and reliability for which ICM products are renowned, the small
size and light weight of the SITEX CPSERIES will radically change
the way that you perform your RT inspections. And you will see a
positive impact in terms of both quality and return on investment
With Mentor UT, you get an accessible and efficient inspection experience. Create user-defined menus
and workflows (“apps”) with GE’s desktop software Mentor Create to ensure consistency, even for the most complex inspections, every time. Mentor UT is the first UT device to easily allow wireless connectivity and live streaming, so you get second opinions when you need them most—in real-time.
