How to use olympus CDS-7t Wedges????

I bought olympus CDS-7t wedge to surface examination. but I don't know how to use
cds- wedge. And I can not find any resources.

I have been using Olympus omniscan-mx. so, omniscan-mx did a lot of bugs?

The OlympusNDT CDS-7t is a great tool to have in your UT Toolbox. It should be coupled with a transducer that is appropriate for the inspection your are attempting. If you want to learn to use this type of probe/wedge combination, I suggest Mark J. Davis (University of Ultrasonics) crack detection course. They will teach you the methods associated with the creeping wave technique as well as other complimentary techniques.

No, the OmniScan MX is relatively bug-free these days. The very early versions had some issues, as do most first generation instruments, but we seem to be running well these days.

If you have problems, contact your Olympus rep or some other expert like one of the training companies for help.

Although this is an old thread, I was recently looking for information about this wedge style myself. I came across a summary by Olympus (Russ Minkwitz) that you may find useful:
