Hello Junho, CW Method is still beyond ASME considerations. You should to check the 2007 edition. But you can write to Ed Ginzel or to Mark Davis. They are part of this forum and is sure they know...

ASME does not describe the "so-called" creeping wave. When you examine the arrival times of the signals when peaking a small depth notch on the opposite wall it will be seen that the detection is actually achieved by the shear headwave. This can be done using a refracted compression mode at some angle between about 70° to 80°
