material indentification

hello guys
I am trying to obtain an instrument that gives the carbon content of a given material. I know of Belec. Can any of you provide more information on manufacturers on first hand experience with these instruments.

We use Spectro (we have more instruments and one is with carbon). It's easy to use.

thanks guys.
Does the spectro instrument also gives a grade match for different alloys?
Have anyone used the instrument from Belec?

Dear Eron, Mobile OES Spectrometer from M/s. SPECTRO is suitable for Assessing the carbon content in a material.

Hi Eron

The Spectro can not give a grade match for different alloys unless you have the material certificate to compare it with, also you have the program for the grade you are looking for to allow any thing you can call grade match.
