RT with Insulation

Dear Experts,
I have tank 23000 m3 (in-service), need make maintenance for this tank during next month.
no have any record for NDT work in this tank. Now need to doing it.
the tank was insulation from outside.

My question is can possible to make RT shooting for tee joint (tank) without remove the insulation?
Best regards

Assuming the tank is acessible from the inside and the insulation is just foam or rockwool type with aluminium paneling, this should be possible. The insulation will prevent you from placing an IQI on the source side so you will have to place it on the film side, if this is not allowed then local removal of the insulation for IQI placement might be possble. You may see screws and chicken wire on the radiograph but this shouldn't be too much of a problem for interpretation. Your technique should be SWSI with the film on the inside and the source outside so that you have acceptable object to film distance.
Maybe UT from the inside could be possible.

ISAFE3 Intrinsically Safe Sensor System

ISAFE3 intrinsically safe sensor system of Vallen Systeme is especially targeted at the petrochemica
l - as well as oil and gas transportation industry. The sensor system is designed for permanent monitoring or periodic inspection tasks. Sensors are available for different AE-frequency ranges optimized for corrosion and fatigue crack detection and other applications. The ISAFE 3 sensor system consists of an AE-sensor (model ISAS3) certified according to ATEX/IEC for installation in zone 0, gas group IIC, IP68, 20 to +60 °C, and a signal isolator (model SISO3) certified for installation in zone 2. An ISAS3 sensor can be mounted in atmosphere or submerged, e.g. in water or crude oil. It is supported by mounting tools for temporary (magnets) or permanent (welded) installation. ISAFE3 supports automatic sensor coupling test and can be used with any AE signal processor supporting 28V supply at 90 mA peak, e.g. Vallen Systeme ASIP-2/A.

Cygnus 6+ PRO Multi-Mode Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Cygnus 6+ PRO thickness gauge is the most advance gauge within the Cygnus range with key featu
res including: comprehensive data logging; A-scan and B-scan display; manual gain control; Bluetooth connectivity; and much more. With its unique dual display and three measuring modes (Multiple-Echo, Echo-Echo and Single-Echo), this surface thickness gauge offers maximum versatility for inspections.

Eddy Current inspection : RotoETscan Rotating Head

The rotating head RotoETscan detects the presence of longitudinal surface or sub surface defects a
t high speed. The rotating head is often installed directly on the production line. It is generally dedicated to the control of long products such as tubes, bars and wires, made of ferrous or non-ferrous material. It can also be used for inspection of small parts (billets).
