for thickness 03 mm ,lamination check

Dear Experts,

can you suggest what will be the frequency(T/R-Probe) of probe use for 3 mm wall thickness ,check for lamination.

Use:-4-5 MHZ probes


The sensitivity of the probe is directly proprtional to its frequency
and The depth of penetration is inversely proportional to frequency

So if you use a probe with higher frequency you will have better sensitivity,since your thickness is less,depth of penetration wont be a problem.

I would use a 10 MHz short focus dual probe. If you don't know where to afford it, feel free to contact me directly

I recommend to 15 MHz Delay line probe

A dual 10 MHz should suffice
