API 5L X42 or X65 for H2S containing natural gas service

Hi All,

We want planning for our client's sour service natural gas pipeline system. You know API 5L X42 to X65 satisfies, the requirements of the NACE MR0175. But, I wonder if you can introduce me an any recommendation/document which compares X42 with X65. I want to know which one is much better for our application. We normally do our PWHT for thickness higher than 12.5mm for sour services; then, using X42 implies higher thickness and hence can bring the costly PWHT requirement.
On the other hand, X42 for a specific MAWP has a higher thickness and then it can be more resistive to corrosive environment.
There are many advantageous and dis advantageous for using both of them. But, some pratice can help me, if their is any.

Best Regards

Pulse thermography is a non-contact test method that is ideal for the characterization of thin fil
ms and coatings or the detection of defects. With a remarquable short test time and a high detection sensitivity, the Telops TESTD-PT is the perfect tool for non- destructive testing. With such high frame rates, it is even possible to investigate highly conductive or diffusive materials.

Varex Imaging Large Field of View (FOV) Digital Detector Arrays (DDAs)

A larger FOV DDA can reduce the space and volume of the X-ray inspection system on the factory floor
, enable faster scanning times, better throughput and better resolution images at a lower dose. Customers can also save time and money. With these benefits in mind, Varex Imaging has designed a family of large FOV detectors (4343HE, XRD 1611, 4343DX-I, 4343CT) for our industrial imaging customers.

GEKKO - Portable Phased Array Testing with TFM in Real-Time

The portable phased array testing system GEKKO provides 64 parallel test channels. On creating testi
ng parameters the operator is assisted by the CIVA software. Due to its modular set-up the GEKKO instrument is suitable for operators of all skill levels.
