Densitometer testing light intensity

Dear all,
I have questions for you that I am unable to search anywhere on the internet:

1. While testing Film densities by a Densitometer on any film-viewer, what should be the value of light intensity of the Film-viewer screen in (lux or candella/meter2)?

2. What should be the operable light intensity for working of any densitometer if you can suggest? (what light intensity do you think is perfect while testing by a densitometer)

3. Can you send me any international standard reference or any guidelines?

I am already using the same standard for reference, but wanted to know- What film viewer light intensity would an operator prefer comfortable to work with? (regardless what is mentioned in the standards).

Dear Pratik,
for good film vieing the light intensity (Luminance) of the film surface should be in the range between 10 and 100 cd/m2. Please be carefully, the unit Lux is used to measure the diffuse illumination in the room (Illuminance in Lux). The lightmeter has to have different sensing heads: for cd/m2 it uses an lens with an opening angle of 20 degree, for Lux it uses a white diffusor with an opening of 180 degree!
The illumination in a viewing room should be less than 50 lux, i.e. a darkened viewing room.
