Ash,
The general idea is that you write your own version to your own requirements.
These two documents are the same, line for line, so it is not necessary to have both documents.

The text in these two documents is very useful to copy, but be certain that you read carefully what you are saying (example in several places it says "When required by the written practice.....". here you should decide if it is a requirement or not, and if it is a requirement, say so, but if not, do not mention it)

If you do not use a certain level of operator (e.g. Level 1 Limited), then you do not have to include this level in your document (exception is Level 3. You must define L3 requirements)
The training and experience hours shown in the document are mandatory minimum amounts. You can decide to use more, but you may not decide to use less.

Another useful document is Nadcap checklist AC7114 section 5.

Hope that helps.

Godfrey

Ashis

My recomendation is, use an EN4179 Level 3 for this purpose; some times the company need pay to have this service, a procedure alone is the same as NAS410 Standard alone; what you need is the Level 3 signature.

The standard and the procedure shall be almost the same in content. Remember with EN4179 you will need a RESPONSIBLE LEVEL 3, designated by the employer.

If you have specific questions, the best practice is use an EN4179 Level 3.
