Olympus Omni Scan MX2 Webinar for advanced calibration

Hi All,
I remember watching an Olympus webinar for calibration of the MX2 where it was recommended NOT to perform velocity calibration when using standard materials with known velocities. Does anyone have a link or knowledge of where I can find this webinar online? I can't locate it and am hoping one of you know where to find it.

Thanks in advanced!

That's such a good hint (way to go Olympus!). It makes no sense to re-prove laws of physics that we've known for 100 years.

Velocity: under most circumstances, just enter the nominal value. If it's really hot or really cold, perhaps some additional steps are necessary.

Wedge delay: just load up the wedge you're using and double check that everything is in tolerance.

Neither one of these really *requires* a calibration, per se. Always verify to make sure things line up, of course.

Hi All,
Thanks for the link, although I had already been there and searched the video titles I could not remember which video it was. Having scanned through them the velocity potion i was searching for is in:

Introduction to Phased Array using the OmniScan MX2 Part3 @ 6 minutes.

Further there is valuable information in regard to wedge angle and height to first element measurements in the video titled:

Phased Array TOF Calibrations for Precision.

Hats off to Olympus for creating these videos and keeping their distribution open and accessible.
